Telos Watch Company delivers high-quality products for those who prioritize value. We strive to design sophisticated watches that are both functional and practical for everyday use. Our design process is driven by a dedication to the lifestyle of our customers. From the beginning, our goal has been to provide consumers with luxurious yet affordable timepieces.
Watchmaking and architecture share common principles, including meticulous attention to detail and precise engineering. Telos Watch Company recognizes and celebrates the dedication of skilled professionals in both disciplines.
Independent watchmaking differs from larger watch industry players in that the spirit of independence fuels their creativity. This independence often leads to greater innovation, a trend likely to persist into the future. While technology has not yet reached its full potential, it will undoubtedly continue to shape the watchmaking industry. One certainty remains: the realm of independent watchmaking will keep expanding and surprising us, whether through novel designs or innovative approaches to traditional craftsmanship.
Independent watchmakers frequently take risks in their watchmaking processes, whether by employing innovative construction techniques or using unconventional materials. For some, finding new methods to enhance traditional watchmaking can be even more experimental and adventurous.
Meet the Mastermind Architect behind the brand
Christos Kesidis is a Greek Architect and industrial designer (graduated from The National Technical University of Athens) who was passionate about the world of watchmaking from an early age. After working several years for prestigious Architecture firms in Greece, he started designing watches as a passion. He teamed up with Swiss designers with whom he designed a complex watch called Droga Fas Limited. He moved to New York after 7 years, where he became a watch design consultant for various major designers in mass production and online distribution, before returning to Athens to launch his brand Telos.
"My late father left me a watchmaker's cabinet filled with old tools and pocket watch components. I believe this sparked my curiosity for vintage products and watch aesthetics in general. He also left me his watch, which had a story that touched me deeply. It's fascinating to realize that behind every watch there are hidden stories ready to be discovered and told." - Christos
